What is a First Look Report?
The objective of a First Look Report is to provide the user with rapid feedback obtained from an eyes-on, boots-on-the-ground encounter with a prospective target, with a focus on first hand observations, conversations and impressions gathered and interpreted by a highly experienced executive who has visited many hundreds of manufacturing companies and met management teams across three continents.

The Hardy Transaction Management First Look Report can provide a strong insight into the character of a business, which even two weeks of third party due diligence might not fully reveal, for a fraction of the price.
The FLR will in part be subjective; some objectivity is derived by triangulation within the author’s extensive experience and knowledge base.
The FLR is intentionally not a research paper or an analyst’s report….although financial data and KPIs will be used to provide context and indicate performance as required.
The FLR is a highly specific and extremely rapid assessment of the look and feel of an individual business and its workforce and operations; photos, to the extent permitted and not inappropriate, will be included.
It is likely that the FLR will be arranged within the first few days after signature of the NDA ie several weeks before the data room is populated.
The FLR is prepared by Hardy Transaction Management Ltd for its client and is covered by HTML’s PI insurance..
In most cases one day site access is sufficient although two days is preferable.
The basic price for a First Look Report is £4,800 + VAT which covers one on-site day, two office days and an optional follow-up Q&A call. Expenses to be agreed in advance.
